ni hao, i haven't been on in awhile

Thu Sep 4, 2008, 1:48 AM
& I'm so sorry! I've been going nuts with my summer work (blech!) and shopping for school, and all of that stuff. I promise to answer all the comments, favorites, and read your journals this weekend, after I babysit and photograph a friend's party. full schedule, eh.

so, okay

Mon Jul 28, 2008, 3:07 AM
I just got done with taking a buuunch of pictures outside in the fog at sunrise, and I get inside to check them out, and not a single one is sharp. I understand that there's fog, but a close-up on a leaf shouldn't be blurry.

sorry, this is pointless, but I'm very disappointed.

to anyone reading this, how are you doing? I'd be interested in hearing about your life.

Startling facts:
AIDS kills one person every fifteen seconds.
25,000 people die every day from starvation. That's one person every 3.5 seconds.
Tuberculosis has killed more people through history than any war, illness, natural disaster or disease. Including the Black Plague.
Over a million people die yearly from malaria, which can be prevented with just $3 per person.
Not to be a bummer, but what are you doing to help?

Devious Journal Entry

Tue Jul 1, 2008, 7:29 PM
i'm realizing things
i'm realizing that some people are just never going to be good friends
i'm realizing that some people are never going to mean enough to me
i'm realizing that i'm not over it, and i never will be
i'm realizing that one mistake is something i don't have to spend the next six months or year or two years making up for
i'm realizing that some people matter, & others do not
i'm realizing that there are more important things in life than one person's feelings towards me
i'm realizing that i should probably be nicer to people
i'm realizing that i hold onto things when it's time to let go
i'm realizing that i'm more possessive than i previously thought
i'm realizing that i have regrets, where for so long i avoided them
i'm realizing that i feel more comfortable with complete strangers than with people i've known my entire life
& i'm realizing that all of this matters so little compared to others' problems
